Andrew Dunn: Forever Moments

My factual feature is based around Gregg McNeil a wet plate collodion photographer originally from the United States. He runs a studio in Larbert, Falkirk, the only commercial wet plate photography business in the UK.

I would like to question him about why he has chosen this form of photography and turn it into a business, as well as find out more about him and his journey as an artist.

Andrew Dunn, HND Film & Television Student 2019

Andrew Dunn’s short documentary feature “Forever Moments” on wet plate photographer Greg McNeill was one of the standout features from our Film Festival in 2019.

The film displayed Andrew’s ability as a camera op’ and film maker capturing the passion and art of its subject, the photographer Gregg McNeil. Well chosen graphics, soundtrack and a bespoke title sequence all came together in a well paced feature produced in his final year with the department.
